Delete your data
DarziKhata · Duttatech Solutions (Tapas Dutta, proprietor), Raiganj, West Bengal, India · last updated 1 November 2026
DarziKhata has no backend server. There is no company-held copy of your data to request the deletion of — everything lives on your device and, only if you enabled backup, in your own Google Drive. You can remove it in any of these ways:
1. Delete everything inside the app
Open DarziKhata → More → Delete all data, and type the word shown to confirm (you can export a backup first). This permanently removes all customers, orders, measurements, ledger entries, workers and photos from the device. You can also do this from your phone’s Settings → Apps → DarziKhata → Storage → Clear storage.
2. Uninstall the app
Uninstalling DarziKhata removes its on-device database and all stored photos from your phone.
3. Remove your Google Drive backup (if you used it)
If you turned on Drive backup, delete that copy from your own Google account:
- Go to your Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services.
- Select DarziKhata and choose “Remove access”.
- This deletes the app’s private backup data (its appDataFolder) from your Google Drive.
What is kept
Only your Google Play subscription, which you manage in the Play Store. It contains nothing from your shop.
Usage statistics and crash reports
The anonymous usage statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) and crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) never contain anything from your shop and are tied only to a random app-instance ID, which is reset when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. They are deleted automatically — usage statistics after up to 14 months, crash reports after 90 days.
Deleting a single record
To remove just one customer, order, worker or payment, open it in the app and use Delete.
